Morecambe & Wise in 'Reveille' paper - 1976 - 2006/12/30 09:43

I'm not exactly a Morecambe & Wise fan per se but while doing some research I found a short series of weekly comic strips in the weekly 'Reveille' newspaper during the summer of 1976.
The writer is Denis Gifford, and the artist Terry Wakefield - the same team who did a strip in one of the 1970s 'M&W' books - and also (I think) some 'M&W' comic/fun books.
They were on the front page of the 'Reveille Extra', which was basically a page you would cut out and fold into a small 4-page 'comic' for your kids. The first of these was in the issue dated 30 April 1976, with the last being No.12, dated 16 July. I've ordered photocopies of the first from the British Library, and will post it when it comes - orders taking around 5-10 working days.
